Buildify was founded on a simple premise: most homeowners and property owners deserve better than what the typical handyman market delivers. Missed appointments, vague estimates, shoddy finishes, and zero documentation have become the norm. We built this company to be the exception.
The owner brings 25+ years of hands-on experience spanning facilities management, construction, maintenance, renovation, project management, vendor management, and the full range of building trades. That breadth isn't common — and it shows in the quality and scope of work we're able to take on.
A degree in Architecture and a Michigan Licensed Builder credential since 1998 underpin everything we do. We understand how buildings are designed, how they're built, and how they fail — which means we catch problems others miss and fix them the right way the first time.
Every project, large or small, gets the same treatment: a clear scope, honest communication, quality workmanship, and a documented record of what was done. That's not a marketing promise — it's how we've operated from day one.

We only take work we can do right.
If a job is outside our scope — or requires a licensed trade — we'll tell you upfront and help you find the right person. We'd rather lose a job than do it wrong.
Communication is part of the service.
You'll know what we're doing, when we're doing it, and what it costs before we start. No surprises on the invoice, no chasing us down for updates.
Documentation protects your investment.
We document every project with photos and written records. Your property is an asset — you should have a paper trail that reflects its condition and maintenance history.
Reliability isn't optional.
We show up when we say we will. We finish what we start. We answer the phone. These aren't differentiators — they should be the baseline. We hold ourselves to them anyway.
